Prints of original oil on canvas donated by Nova Scotia artist, Katie MacNeil;

Mr. Brown was the canine inspiration for ElderDog Canada. An old and ill Chocolate Lab, Mr. Brown, went to live with ElderDog Canada Founder, Ardra Cole, after her brother died suddenly leaving Mr. Brown without a companion. Mr. Brown died of cancer at age 12. ElderDog Canada is his legacy. Hearing the story of Mr. Brown and ElderDog Canada, Katie offered to paint and donate Mr. Brown to raise funds for the organization. The original painting (24" x 36" oil on canvas) will hang in Place to Paws – a commemoration site to be built at ElderDog Canada's national office in beautiful Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. The print is available in two sizes: 11” X 17” digital print on acid-free paper ($ 75.00) and 17” X 22” matted digital print on acid-free paper ($175.00). Orders taken for prints in any size  by contacting us at
